Tip 4: Instructions for use of SAFETYgrip

When using anti-slip materials, the following criteria have to be met:

• The contact areas have to be swept clean and be free of ice, grease and oil.
• The load surface of the lorry and the loaded cargo must be dry.
• When using slip-inhibiting materials, there must be no direct contact between cargo and load surface.
• Anti-slip mats may only be used for the approved, certified combinations of materials.
• The indicated tensile strengths may not be exceeded.
• Application only in closed lorries.
• SAFETYgrip is designed for single use only.
• Load securing solely be means of anti-slip mats is not permissible. Additional measures such as lashing down have to be taken.
• After use, SAFETYgrip can be disposed of as waste paper.
• Store SAFETYgrip in a dry and dust-free location. This is most easily achieved by only removing SAFETYgrip from the corrugated board container or from the pallet shortly before use and by leaving the corrugated board container closed or the top layer covered when not required.
