They are perfectly suited for angular bottle crates. Simply fix to the edges of the cargo and the journey will be significantly safer.
In load safety, edge protectors are an important tool for protecting the cargo from the forces involved in lashing down or for interconnecting several units of cargo in order to then be able to use a single lashing device.

Specification “High Strength Edge Protector” (according to TÜV-Nord requirements)
For load securing of beer or bottle crates the following specification was approved by TÜV-Nord:
- Leg length 100 x 100 mm
- Wall thickness 9 mm
- Length 2400 mm (for example beer or bottle crates 800 – 2400 mm)
- Withstands at least 5000 N (three point bending flexural test according to DIN EN 13393)
